The Pro Rodeo League of Women did a small luncheon style show to introduce the first time qualifiers wives to their counterparts at the National Finals Rodeo, with the proceed going to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. In 1987 the volunteers organizing it, wanted the event to grow and they asked Destination Vegas to do their shows production. With the support of Michael Gaughan, his hotel (South Point Hotel Casino), Wrangler, and Rocky Mountain Clothing, the womans luncheon has grown to become a premium event at NFR, with Millions of Dollars being raised to help the injured cowboys, and their families. |
